The brand behind the bike

Two decades in one of the toughest corners of Australia.

If a bike can survive Broome red dust, heat, corrugated roads and the salt air of the Kimberley coast it can survive anything you'll throw at it. That's the school we learned in.

For over 20 years we've sold, serviced and stood behind bikes in this community. We know exactly what fails, what lasts, and what riders actually need because we're the ones who get the call when something goes wrong.

So we built the Ridgeline to fill a gap nobody else in Australia was filling: a genuinely good 29er, properly equipped and properly backed, at a price that isn't being catered for. World-class quality. World-class price. No middleman markup, no mystery.

Why the Ridgeline

The bike that turns "I should ride more" into Saturday mornings.

You know that feeling. The bike's been sitting in the garage. The tyres are flat. Last time you rode, you got a puncture three kilometres in and pushed it home in the heat.

The Ridgeline 29 is the answer to all of that  a bike that turns up complete, stays rolling, and gets out of its own way so you actually use it.

Thorn-resistant tubes mean you're not pumping up a flat every other weekend. Twenty-nine-inch wheels roll smoothly over kerbs, gravel, and tree roots that used to throw you off balance. And Shimano gears mean you change up the climb instead of pushing through it.

"It's the bike that finally got me back on the trail every Saturday and we ride further now because we're not worried about flats."

This isn't a bike that sits in the garage. It's a bike that gets ridden. That's the whole point.

Why this bike is different

Things the cheap imports won't tell you they skip.

Most online bikes arrive in a box, untested, with whatever tubes were cheapest that week. Ours don't. Here's what comes standard with every Ridgeline:

Fitted as standard

Adjustable 6725 headset fits riders big and small.

Don't like leaning forward? Like riding upright? No problem. The 6725 adjustable headset comes fitted to every Ridgeline as standard so the same M/L frame adapts to a 160cm rider or a 190cm rider, and you can tune your riding position in seconds. Most online sellers ship with a fixed stem; you don't get a choice. We think that's wrong.

Fitted as standard

Thorn-resistant tubes

Australia is full of bindii, goatheads and three-corner jacks. We fit thorn-resistant tubes before the bike leaves us up to 5× more puncture resistancethan standard. Most online sellers charge extra for this, or skip it entirely.

Included

Complete, with kickstand

It arrives complete kickstand fitted, reflectors on, nothing missing. No "some assembly, some parts sold separately" surprises. You open the box to a bike that's ready to finish in minutes.

Every bike

Gearing checked & tuned

Every Ridgeline ischecked and tested for gearing in our workshopbefore it ships. Indexed, adjusted, ridden. Not flat-packed and forgotten workshop-checked by people who've done it for 20 years.

For the life of the bike

We carry every spare part

We support every model we sell and stock all the spare parts for them.Years from now, a replacement is a phone call away not a dead end on a discontinued import nobody backs.

Ridgeline bike workshop inspection
Workshop-checked, not box-shipped

The difference is in what happens before it ships.

  • Gearing indexed and ride-tested by our workshop, every single bike
  • Brakes set and checked disc front and rear, dialled in
  • Thorn-resistant tubes fitted before it's boxed
  • Wheels trued, bolts torqued arrives 90% done, finished in 15 minutes
  • Backed by 20 years of knowing what actually goes wrong

Why we include one honest freight price

A checked, complete bike is big and heavy, and getting it safely to your door anywhere in Australia, from a metro suburb to a Kimberley cattle station costs real money. We don't play the free shipping game where the cost is just buried in a higher sticker and you pay it anyway.

Freight is built into one clear, all-in price fully insured, tracked, and the same whether you're in Sydney or out past Broome. The number you see is the number you pay. No checkout surprise, no nasty add-on at the last step.

Honest pricing from a brand that's been accountable to its community for two decades.

Real support, from real people

Stuck? You'll talk to someone who knows the bike.

Buying online shouldn't mean you're on your own. When you buy a 6725, our workshop is on the other end by phone or on a video call, walking you through whatever you need.

📞

Phone support

Call and speak to a person who actually knows the Ridgeline not a script, not a queue overseas. Setup, adjustment, advice.

🎥

Video chat support

Prefer to show us? Jump on a video call and we'll guide you through assembly or adjustment in real time, hands-on.

🛠️

We support every model

Whatever 6725 you ride, we back it with know-how and with parts. We carry the spares for every model we sell.

Your protection, spelled out plainly

Two promises and no fine-print games.

↩️ 30-day returns

Changed your mind within 30 days? Send it back for a refund on the bike. Because it's a change of mind, the return freight is on you — fair and upfront, so there are no surprises either way.

Simple change-of-mind cover, stated honestly.

🛡️ Defect? On us.

If anything's defective in the bike, the build, or a part you have the right to a repair or return at our cost. That's not a favour; it's how a real brand that stands behind its product operates.

Defective = our problem to fix, our freight to pay.

Straight answers

The questions buyers ask us

Are you actually an Australian brand, or an overseas reseller?

Genuinely Australian. 6725 Cycles has been established in Broome, in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, for over 20 years. We're a real business with a real workshop, real phone support, and a long-standing accountability to our local community. When you call, you're talking to us.

What makes your bike different from the cheaper imports online?

Three things the cheap imports skip: every Ridgeline is bike-shop checked and gearing-tested before it ships, it comes complete with thorn-resistant tubes and a kickstand fitted as standard, and we back it for life with full phone/video support and every spare part in stock. You're not buying a mystery box — you're buying a checked, supported bike from a 20-year brand.

Why isn't shipping free like some other listings?

Because "free shipping" on a heavy item just means the freight is hidden in a higher price you pay it either way. We build one honest, all-in freight price that's fully insured and tracked to anywhere in Australia. The price you see is the price you pay, with no surprise added at checkout.

How hard is it to put together?

If you can use an Allen key, you can finish this bike. It arrives 90% pre-assembled and workshop-checked you'll fit the front wheel, straighten the handlebars, attach the pedals, and tighten the saddle. About 15–30 minutes start to finish. Printed instructions, tools, and a link to a step-by-step video are all included in the box.

What height riders does it suit?

The Ridgeline 29 frame is ratedM/L (Medium to Large)and is the best fit for riders from approximately160cm to 190cm. Because every Ridgeline comes fitted with the6725 adjustable headsetas standard, the same frame works comfortably for a 160cm rider in an upright position and a 190cm rider in a more forward position — no tools, no parts to swap, no compromise. If you're outside that range or unsure, call us and we'll help you size it up properly.

Will it handle Australian trails?

Yes — for trail riding, gravel paths, fire roads, light singletrack, suburban streets and commuting, the Ridgeline 29 is in its element. The 29-inch wheels roll efficiently over rocks and roots, and the dual disc brakes give you confidence on descents. For aggressive downhill or technical enduro, you'd want a full-suspension bike but the Ridgeline covers 90% of what most Australian riders need.

What if I change my mind after it arrives?

You have 30 days to return it for a refund on the bike. As it's a change of mind (not a fault), you cover the return freight. We tell you that upfront so there's nothing hidden.

What if the bike or a part is faulty?

Then it's on us. If anything is defective, you have the right to a repair or return at our cost — freight included. We stand behind what we build.

Will I be able to get parts down the track?

Yes. We support every model we sell and carry all the spare parts for them. A replacement is a phone call away not a dead end on a discontinued import nobody backs.

How long does delivery take?

Dispatched within 1–2 business days after workshop check and packing. Metro areas typically arrive in 3–5 business days, regional in 5–10. You'll get tracking the moment it ships.
