Why this bike, why this price

The sub-$600 commuter market
is mostly a trap.

There's the cheap stuff with no brand, no shop, no warranty. There's the premium stuff with a logo tax. And there's the sensible middle — which almost nobody actually offers. That's the 6725 Axis.

700C × 42C — the sweet-spot tyre size

Wide enough for comfort and stability on roads and paths. Narrow enough to roll fast and efficiently.

Mechanical disc brakes — front and rear

Consistent stopping power in rain, dust, or shine. Dramatically safer than rim brakes.

Lightweight alloy frame, internal routing

Light enough to carry up stairs or onto a train. Internal routing keeps cables protected.

Double-wall alloy rims · sealed bearings

Double-wall rims are stronger, truer, and last longer. Sealed bearings mean less servicing.

Built for the way you actually ride

One bike.
Every kind of ride.

The Axis was designed as a daily-driver, not a category specialist. It does the commute, the fitness loop, the coastal path, and the weekend cruise — without compromise.

The commute
Light, fast, and stable on city streets and bike lanes. Disc brakes for wet-weather confidence.
Coastal paths
Built for shared paths Australia-wide. Wide tyres absorb the bumps, disc brakes hold on descents.
Fitness rides
700c wheels roll fast and efficiently. Shimano 8-speed gives you the range for hills and headwinds.
Errands & weekends
Upright, ergonomic ride position. Comfortable for the bakery loop, the school run, the long Sunday cruise.

Real specs. Real shop. Real warranty.

We named our brand after our postcode — 6725 — because every product we make is built for here. For Australian conditions, the Australian rider, and the Australian buyer who's tired of being squeezed between cheap rubbish and overpriced badges. The Axis is what a $599 commuter bike should always have been. We built it because nobody else would.

Spec-first, not badge-first — every component chosen for the job, not the margin

Common questions

Before you buy— the honest answers.

The bike ships partially assembled in a protective box. Most riders complete the final assembly in about 20 minutes (handlebar, front wheel, pedals, seat). If you'd rather have it professionally assembled, you can take it to any local bike shop — they typically charge $50–$80. If you're in Broome, drop in to 2 Hamersley St and we'll assemble it for you free.

The Axis 700c is built around a versatile frame geometry suited to riders roughly 165cm–190cm tall. If you're unsure about fit, call us on (08) 9192 1871 — we'll talk you through it before you buy. We'd rather help you size it right than have you return it.

Two reasons. First, no brand markup. 6725 is our own house brand — there's no licensing fee or marketing budget baked into the price. Second, we sell direct. When you buy a premium-brand bike, you're paying a distributor, a wholesaler, and a retailer. We're all three. The savings go to you, not the supply chain.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and material faults under normal use for 12 months from your purchase date. That includes frame integrity, drivetrain components, brakes, and wheels. It doesn't cover wear-and-tear items (tyres, brake pads, chain stretch) or damage from crashes or improper use. If anything goes wrong, just call us — we deal with warranty claims directly, not through some offshore email queue.

Bikes ship flat-rate $130 anywhere in Australia. Most metro areas receive delivery within 5–8 business days; regional and remote addresses may take 7–12 days. We'll send you tracking the moment your bike leaves our warehouse. Free shipping applies to orders over $100 on parts, accessories and clothing — but bike-specific shipping is the $130 flat rate.

Yes. We offer a 30-day return window on unused bikes from the date of purchase. The bike needs to be in original condition with no signs of use. If you've ridden it and want to return it, get in touch — we deal with those cases individually and try to find a fair outcome.

Any bike shop in Australia can service the Axis — it uses standard Shimano components and standard bike-industry sizing. There are no proprietary parts that only one shop can touch. If you're local to Broome, we'll service it ourselves. If you're elsewhere, your local bike shop can handle it — and we'll back any warranty claim from wherever you are.
