Why buy it from us

Two decades in one of the toughest corners of Australia

6725 Cycles is the online arm of Broome Cycles a real bike shop that's been trading from Hammersley Street in Broome for more than twenty years. Red dirt, corrugations, sand, wet-season humidity: if a bike survives up here, it survives anywhere.

That's exactly why we put our name behind the Fat Bandit. Fat 4-inch tyres, a torquey motor and everything-included spec make it a natural fit for the way people actually ride in the North West beach runs, boat ramps, back streets and bush tracks.

Fat Bandit's own advice to buyers is simple: buy through a local dealer so someone's got your back. For WA, that's us.

Buying direct from Fat Bandit is a fair option — they're a good outfit. But their own advice is to lean on a local dealer for support. Same price, more backup: that's the whole pitch.

Price honesty

One price. No games at checkout.

The Bandit is $2,499 — the same national sale price you'll see from Fat Bandit directly (down from the $2,999 RRP). We don't pad it, and we don't spring surprise fees at the end.

Buying from Broome or the wider Kimberley? Talk to us before you order — we'll give you a straight answer on pickup from the shop or delivery to your area, including remote addresses that other retailers put in the "too hard" basket.

After the sale

Support that doesn't disappear after checkout

📞

Pick up the phone

Questions before or after you buy — call the shop and talk to someone who actually works on these bikes.

🔩

Genuine parts backing

Fat Bandit stocks genuine replacement parts, and as an authorised dealer we can order and fit them for you.

🛠️

Servicing for the long haul

Brakes, drivetrain, electrics — our workshop keeps your Bandit running well beyond the warranty period.

Backed properly

12-month comprehensive warranty

Every Fat Bandit comes with a 12-month comprehensive manufacturer warranty from purchase — and because you bought it through an authorised dealer, claims run through us, not a web form on the other side of the country.

What's covered

Virtually all components: frame (excluding cosmetic finish), motor, battery, controller, display, wiring and factory-installed parts.

What's not

Normal wear items, cosmetic damage, misuse, accidents, water ingress, unauthorised modifications, and commercial or rental use.

Your rights

The warranty sits on top of your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If something's a genuine defect, it gets sorted.

Straight answers

Questions people actually ask

Are you actually an Australian bike shop?

Yes — and we'll be specific, because plenty of "Australian" bike sites are a logo and a rented warehouse. 6725 Cycles is the online arm of Broome Cycles, a physical shop at 2 Hammersley St, Broome WA that's been trading for more than twenty years. Fat Bandit is likewise Australian owned and supported, designed for Australian riders. You're buying an Australian brand's bike from an Australian shop.

How fast does it go?

Pedal assist is limited to 25km/h in the street-compliant EN 250W configuration, with a 6km/h walk-assist throttle. An Off-Road Ready configuration removes the throttle restriction — but that's strictly for private property use and may not be road legal. We'll always give you the straight version of what's legal where you ride.

Is it road legal in Australia?

The Bandit is supplied in line with the EN15194 e-bike standard in its street configuration. Rules vary a little by state, so check your local regulations — or just ask us and we'll walk you through the WA position.

How far will it really go on a charge?

Up to 100km in ideal conditions; a comfortable everyday average is around 80km. Rider weight, terrain, assist level and soft sand all pull that number around — which is exactly why the big 960Wh battery matters.

Can I take the battery out to charge it?

Yes. The battery is removable, so you can charge it inside while the bike stays in the shed. A full charge takes about 8–10 hours from empty on the supplied charger.

Does it arrive ready to ride?

If it comes through us, that's the whole point — assembled and safety-checked by our mechanics before you ride it. Bikes shipped direct arrive partially assembled and need final setup (handlebars, pedals, lights, guards, front wheel).

Can I ride it in the rain?

Yes — it's built for real-world conditions including wet weather. It's not fully waterproof though, so avoid prolonged heavy soakings and never submerge it. Up here that mostly means don't ride it through the creek in the wet season.

What if something goes wrong?

Call us. As an authorised dealer we handle warranty claims locally, stock and fit genuine parts, and service the bike in our own workshop. That's the difference between buying from a shop and buying from a listing.
