How long does the battery last?
Thefront lightruns 2 hours at full 1200-lumen output, or 10 hours on low. Therear lightruns 6 hours in solid mode, 45 hours in eco flash. A full USB-C recharge takes ~3 hours on the front, ~1.5 hours on the rear.
Does it fit my handlebars?
The rubber-strap handlebar mount fits anything from22.2mm (kids' and some MTB bars) up to 31.8mm (modern road and MTB). Aero bars over 35mm won't fit. If in doubt, measure across the top of your handlebar with a tape measure or calipers.
What does 'brake sensing' actually do?
The rear light has an accelerometer. When youslow down sharply, it automatically switches to a bright solid red for ~2 seconds โ like a car's brake light โ then returns to its normal flashing pattern. You don't do anything; it just works.
Is it really IPX6 waterproof?
Yes โ IPX6 means it handlespowerful water jets from any direction, which covers any real-world rain, puddle spray, and hose-down cleaning. Don't submerge it in water, and keep the USB-C port cover closed when riding in the wet.
What if something goes wrong?
12-month warrantyon the lights, the mounts, and the cable. If anything fails in normal use, email us (service@broomecycles.com.au) and we'll send a replacement. We're a real bike shop, not an Amazon dropshipper.
Does it charge while I'm riding?
No โ these are self-contained rechargeable lights. You charge them at home via USB-C. A full charge gives you several nights of commuting before you need to top up. For bike-powered lights (dynamo), we stock other options โ call us on (08) 9192 1871.
